Asos

ASOS offer students an all-year-round discount of 10% but often have promotional 20% or even 25% off student offers. The site also often offers discounts on certain product lines such as ‘winter collections’, which generally offer around 30-40% off the ranges.
Alongside discounts, ASOS provides free delivery and returns for items making the online shopping experience a little easier.
ASOS sells a number of brands but also produces their own ASOS line so there is something for everyone and every budget. As well as stocked items, the site has the ‘market place’ feature which allows you to buy and sell new and used clothing, which is mainly used by small independent shops.

Topshop offer a continuous 10% student discount but often have 20% off events for both Topshop and Topman with a valid NUS card both online and instore. Topshop also offer students the opportunity to join the exclusive student email list in order to receive special offers, competitions and general tips and information.
General offers may vary between Topman and Topshop who often give promotional discounts on product lines or styles. Student discount may also vary at a given time between the two stores.
Free shipping for orders over £75 can be obtained from Topshop online or at a minimum of £4 for Topman.

Republic generally offer 10% student discount but do occasionally increase the discount to 20% which can be obtained with just your .ac.uk university address meaning there is no need to use an NUS card!
Republic online are currently offering free next or nominated day delivery rather than the more usual free delivery of orders over £75. Returns are free to store if purchased online as well as in the shop.
Alongside brands such as G-star and Firetrap, Republic stock slightly more affordable brands such as Crafted, Vila and Jack and Jones.
For special offers, style information and competitions, the republic magazine can be found online and is free to view for all customers.

Although slightly pricier than other clothing stores, 15% off will gain you the top brand items for much cheaper than other stockists!

Although H&M do not offer all-year-round student discount, many stores often hold ‘student nights’ where usually 30% student discount can be obtained on all purchases. Prices are generally very low in store and are comparable to the prices of stores such as Primark or New look for the ladies.
H&M often offer promotional discounts on product ranges of up to 50% off, which is currently applicable to a range of outerwear and coats for women, men and children.
H&M also offer an online newsletter which can be signed up to via the website and will give new readers 25% off in the online H&M store.

Like H&M, River island does not offer a year-round student discount. The store does however, host the occasional 20% student discount ‘lock-in’ event at many stores around the UK.
The store also holds more general promotional events that are not specific to students such as ‘20% off everything in store’
The online store frequently gives offers on delivery such as free delivery or free when a certain amount is spent and returns are free to store.
Whilst being affordable, River island is a popular student store with a wide rand of products and ever-changing stock to keep up-to-date with the latest fashion and trends.
