I often find that the best way for me to relax and have fun is going on holiday and getting away from it all. You are attending University in the beautiful Victorian city of Glasgow. With authentic sandstone buildings, a style mile for all your shopping needs, hundreds of gorgeous parks and amazing restaurants and a world famous, vibrant music culture, Glasgow is the perfect city in which to be a student. With everything on your doorstep the world really is your oyster, but I’m willing to bet the majority of the students living in Glasgow have no idea of its wealth of history, don’t bother getting out there and seeing the sights and are uneducated in their city’s extensive culture. My advice to you? Be a tourist. No, I don’t mean wear a mac-in-a-bag, get an oversized camera and take pictures of yourself with absolutely everything. No one ever said tourist wasn’t cool, I mean, get in amongst it and see what your city really has to offer. Do all the touristy stuff and find places of Glasgow which before you’d never have even thought about, it will heighten your uni experience no end and will also provide you with lots of nice places to take your family and friends to visit.
